Google's latest innovation is having to connect your YouTube account to Google+ if you want to access new features on YouTube. If you're like me, you probably find this really annoying. If you want to disconnect your YouTube account from Google+, here's how.
Note: This is as of 2013/11/18. My guess is that YouTube will eventually require you to have your account connected to Google+. However, this is a fix for now.
Step 1: Click the arrow next to your username in the upper-right corner of YouTube. Step 2: Under YouTube, click YouTube Settings. Step 3: Under your username, click Temporarily disconnect Google+ page, and use your YouTube username. Step 4: Follow the onscreen instructions.
